"It shall be the object of this
organization to draw into fellowship, persons interested in wildlife:
To promote the true sportsman's view in regards to rehabilitation of
wildlife resources,
to encourage and promote conservation, and
to support and inspire legislation to achieve this objective."
Delaware County Field and Stream Association was founded in 1939 and is
located on 65 wooded acres of rolling hills in Delaware County, PA.
With the help of over 4000 members
we promote ongoing Conservation, Fishing, Hunting, and Shooting
activities for all to enjoy. Just minutes from many regional
major highways, we extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in joining
our membership ranks.
We are proudly recognized by the
National Rifle Association for
our leadership in Firearms Safety Education and promotion of the
Shooting Sports. As an affiliate of the
Civilian Marksmanship
Program we promote proper education and competition guidelines to
enable our members to compete in many national level NRA and CMP
sporting events. We offer a wide variety of range facilities,
sporting leagues, and educational programs, including Hunters Education
classes. Women and families are encouraged to come and explore the
sporting disciplines that Delaware County Field and Stream Association
provides in both a safe and friendly atmosphere.
We offer year round activities and competitions for those who enjoy
the competitive edge of sports. All competitions are open to the general
public for a nominal entry fee unless otherwise stated. For those
who enjoy practicing their discipline on their own, our ranges are open
364 days a year, 9 a.m. until sunset, rain or shine, provided there are no scheduled events
taking place. Our members enjoy relaxing in the climate controlled
Club House and Ed Martin House, both of which are great places to sit
back and talk to new and old friends, ask questions, or to have a snack
in between relays.
The Delaware County Field and Stream Association is no way way
affiliated with
Field and Stream Magazine.
