Pennsylvania Gun Club Under Attack

Gentlemen,

       I have sent each of you this letter to inform you of the situation here at LPC. As Bruce noted an adverse ruling could affect many clubs across the state. All of you have or know of a club with homes in close proximity. However, we do feel confident we will prevail. It will bear close watching. If you would post a copy of this at your respective ranges and/or post it on a club website we would appreciate that. Anything more would be a bonus. Hope to see you all soon. In the mean time stay safe and stay warm!

Good Morning all!

First of all, I want to Thank ALL of you for your input over the last few days. After input from many of you, as well as our legal counsel, I think this final version of information allows us to tell our story briefly, stresses the importance of our case, as well as the need and urgency for the legal defense fund, and gives a summary of the events so far but allowing us to keep the moral high ground. No one wants to see us lower ourselves to the level of deeds and actions taken by our new neighbor. The Lewistown Pistol Club will continue to honor our past, and deal with the present in an ethical and moral manner.

IF you have or receive ANY communications related to our case or these issues, PLEASE send them to me directly. In order to keep the matter moving forward, and to avoid wasting time or capital, I am the point person for communications with you and our counsel. I am please to tell you that we have made significant steps in the last few days, and I look forward to us prevailing in the case. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the speed of the justice system. In the mean time, we are gong forward 100% with our events, our planning, and most of all our friendships of not only continuing our proud heritage but our constitutional rights as fellow shooters and gun owners.

We have placed a donate button on the lewistownpistolclub website and I believe that PRPA has agreed to put the information on their website as well....

Legislative Report - (no new info received since January 2006)

As your Legislative Chairman, each month I will attempt to bring to you the hottest issues facing gun owners. In most all cases, these will be time-sensitive issues which will require timely action from all or our members. Please help me to help YOU, by responding! Please keep in close contact with your Congressman, U.S. Senators, and state and local representatives. Call, email, and write them often!

NRA, GOA, SAF, and JPFO are on the front lines in the fight to keep your rights from being TAKEN from you. If you are a gun owner, and are not a member of all of these organizations, you are getting a free ride on the backs of others so please join and support all of these fine firearms owners' organizations.
