APPLICATION
INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Obtain an application from the Club office. Applications must be picked
up in person, and you must present a valid photo I.D. in order to obtain an
application. Note: A government issued I.D. is required, such as a Drivers
License, passport, Military I.D., etc. Other types of Photo identification may
not be accepted.
2.
Obtain the endorsement of two current, members in good standing and the
signature of one Range Officer or Executive Officer. You may be asked to show
identification and/or briefly interviewed by the member/Officer who you have
asked to endorse you. One of your three endorsements must be a club
officer. (Range or Exec.) If your sponsor is a club officer then three current
general members endorsements is acceptable.
Endorsement must be printed,
signed, and contain the signors current membership number.
If you are new to the area,
or don’t know anyone at the Club, you may ask for assistance at the club
office. They should be able to direct you to one of the club officers who will
be more than happy to assist you. Or if you prefer, you may attend a General
Membership Meeting, Range and Facilities meeting, or Executive Meeting to
solicit your endorsements.
NOTE: Non U.S. Citizens must
apply in person at an Executive meeting
3.
Attend a Club Orientation Class. Attendance at an Orientation is
mandatory for all applicants, which takes approximately one hour. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The purpose of this session is to familiarize you with the club and the safety
regulations for each range. This event will give you the opportunity to meet
some of the Club’s members and hopefully make trying a new range a little less
intimidating. The orientation sessions are held at the club grounds almost every
Sunday, check with the club office for a current schedule. The orientation
session is an outdoor activity, so dress appropriately.
For family memberships, it
is recommended that all members attend, however only one adult member is
required to attend and will be responsible for instructing their family members.
Junior members should attend with a parent, guardian, or sponsor. At the
conclusion of the session, obtain the endorsement of the instructor.
4.
Take your completed application, with the required endorsements,
to the Club Office with payment. At that time, you will be issued temporary
membership credentials, which entitles you to full use of the club facilities.
Your regular membership credentials will be issued immediately following the
next scheduled Executive meeting, after your application for membership has been
formally approved. While your attendance at this meeting is not required, all
members are welcome and encouraged to attend any of the clubs meetings.
5.
Your Membership expires on 12-31 of every year. You may renew anytime
after September 15th and you are encouraged to renew by 12-31. After
February 1st a late fee of $20 will be charged.
